Blues musician Stevie Nimmo and his band will make their Lichfield Guildhall debut in 2018.

Lichfield Arts will welcome the musician on January 14, 2018.

The Glasgow-born performer recorded his first solo album The Wynds of Life in 2010, before following it up with Sky Won’t Fall in 2016 – the same year he was nominated for four prizes in the British Blues Awards.

A Lichfield Arts spokesman said “Stevie Nimmo has been steadily building his reputation as a guitarist, singer and song-writer of the first order for some years now.

“His live shows build on the promise that Sky Won’t Fall delivered.

“This is a band that straddles the bombast of pure rock and the gentler strains of the blues. To see a guitarist of this standard playing within the grandeur of the Guildhall will be unmissable opportunity for any fan of live music.”
