Lichfield City FC entertain Henley Forest on Saturday (October 16) in the imoSports Midland Combination Division Two.

Dean Gilbert’s men currently occupy second-spot in the table, two points behind leaders Feckenham, but the City boss believes there is still more to come from his side.

He explained:

> “We have been playing some good football but only in stages. I don’t think we’ve been a patch on last season but we are still second in the league.

> “The lads have been worked hard in training and the atmosphere at the club has been top drawer. There’s definitely more to come.”

Kick-off at Brownsfield Park is 3pm. Elsewhere, Lichfield City’s reserves travel to Littleton Reserves on Saturday (kick-off 3pm).
