# Bridge strike causes delays for Lichfield Trent Valley passengers

Passengers using the West Coast Main Line through Lichfield have suffered delays this evening.

Services were disrupted after a vehicle struck a bridge at Atherstone at around 6.30pm.

It meant services were delayed for around 20 minutes.

The lines have since been re-opened.
