Attack Of The Clowns were in no mood for fooling around as they moved into top spot of the Burntwood Sunday six-a-side Premier Division, overtaking their opponents The Trotter Return Again in the process after a narrow 2-1 win.

Young Guns are now just a point off the summit in third place, as they were firing on all cylinders in a crushing 7-0 defeat of Burntwood Reds. It was a real scrap at the foot of the top flight, and it ended honors even as Chase United and The Untouchables battled to a 2-2 draw.

Burntwood 6 had firm grip of White Horse’s reigns, but couldn’t hold on as they narrowly missed out in a 2-1 defeat against the First Division leaders. Warriors had their attack spurned as they went down 3-0 to Average Joe’s who look solid in second.

Beercalona

The froth of Beercelona is all that separates themselves and Manaconk FC in the Burntwood Monday six-a-side Premier Division, with both sides tied on 18 points.

Beercelona recorded a ‘fine’ 4-0 win over Endors Finest to edge ahead in top spot. Definitely Maybe Probably Not are keeping the leaders honest as they battled to a narrow 2-1 win over Burntwood AFC.

Athletico Chasetown are proving that they may well have the stamina to go all the way in the First Division as they edged to a 2-1 win over the Bronx Brothers, sprinting seven points clear of the chasing pack in the process.

There was a real shock in the Second Division as league leaders Braziliant were humbled by bottom side The Drop Outs, 3-2\. However, second spot Mean Machine could only move level on points with the table toppers as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Grasping At Straws.

In the bottom tier, Burntwood Villa won the battle of the top two, as they overcame last week’s leaders FC Sporting, 2-0\.
