A BURNTWOOD property could be converted into a care facility is plans are approved.

The proposals have been drawn up for 4B Ash Grove.

Almond Care Limited hopes to use the property to provide full-time residential care for up to three adults with physical or learning disabilities.

A planning statement said:

> “Almond Care Limited is designed for adults aged 18+ who require full-time care due to physical disabilities, learning disabilities, or a combination of both. This includes individuals with conditions such as autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, moderate intellectual disabilities or mobility challenges.
>
> “The home is situated in a peaceful cul-de-sac within Ash Grove – a gated residential development that enhances security and privacy.
>
> “The site design supports mobility, comfort and independent for residents with complex needs.”

The report said the facility would have a round-the-clock on site support for residents.

But objections have been raised by residents in the local area.

One said:

> “There are many parking issues already within this area and the adjoining roads for many years now.
>
> “This planning states that there is parking at the property but doesn’t state where the four full time staff, deliveries or visitors will park.”

Another, who lives next to the access driveway, said:

> “One of my concerns is the noise of the cars accessing the property all hours of the day and night as they propose to provide 24 hour care. This would involve staff and visitors and I am concerned where all these cars are going to park.”
