# Burntwood residents invited to join Chasewater walk

People living in Burntwood are being invited to kick-off the new year with a guided walk around Chasewater.

The rangers will host the free event on January 2.

Setting off from Chasewater Innovation Centre at 2pm, the New Year’s Winter Walk will be a gentle three-mile stroll round the reservoir.

Chasewater ranger Ellen Williams said: “Come to Chasewater Country Park to burn off your Christmas puds and start your year as you mean to go on, with a healthy wintry walk.

“It is for all ages and abilities, and dogs are welcome on a lead. Please wrap up warm and wear sturdy shoes or boots.”
