# Burntwood schoolchildren take part in poster competition

Schoolchildren have been designing posters a part of a competition organised by the Burntwood Action Group.

Pupils from Fulfen and Highfields Primary Schools were invited to produce a poster to advertise the need to preserve green land and wildlife. Entries could also indicate the work of the Action Group through use of its initials (BAG).

And during the closing assemblies of the two schools, £10 gift vouchers were presented to the two winners and certificates were awarded to five other children for producing posters judged to be highly commended. All of those who took part were congratulated on producing excellent, thought provoking posters.

The winners were Frayer Webster-Mayhew (Highfields) and Emily Poxon (Fulfen), while Will Gould, Naomi Wragg, Harry Barker, Madie Fox and Georgina Bailey were highly commended.
