Burntwood Town put the misery of a midweek hammering behind them to secure a 2-0 victory at Coventry Spires.

Mitch Clarke and Shawn Charles were on target to ensure memories of the 12-2 loss against Polesworth were soon forgotten.

Town will be hoping to make it two away wins on the spin next Saturday (August 25) when they travel to early season pace-setters Alcester Town.
