Burntwood Town FC made league leaders Kenilworth Town work hard for their victory.

Bill Aiton’s men came close to turning the formbook on its head as a Jonathan Letford goal saw Town push the visitors all the way, before the Midland Football Combination Division Two front-runners eventually ran out 2-1 winners.

Town will hope to produce another performance when they entertain near rivals Barton United tonight (April 15).
