# Burntwood Town lose out to Rugeley Rangers

Burntwood Town suffered defeat in the Les James Challenge Cup as they were sunk by Rugeley Rangers.

Despite sitting bottom of the table, Rugeley pulled a shock out of the bag to claim a 3-2 win.

Mykel Galloway and Shawn Charles were on target for Burntwood, but Rangers sealed the win with strikes by John Hurley, Joe Murphy and Jack Turner.

Town return to league action on Saturday (September 15) when they entertain Leamington Hibernian.
