Burntwood Town chalked up their first victory of the season with a 2-1 win at FC Stratford.

The visitors erased memories of an 8-0 loss against Sutton United in their latest Midland Combination Division Two clash.

Goals from Dean Williams and Sam Taylor were enough to cancel out Ben Gibson’s strike for Stratford.

Burntwood’s next action sees them travel to Polesworth tomorrow (August 14).
