A tea room on the Chasewater Railway has celebrated reaching the final of a regional hospitality award.

The Sidings, at Brownhills West Station, made the shortlist for the Afternoon Tea Establishment of the Year prize at the Midlands Food, Drink and Hospitality Awards.

Manager Becky Weeks said the team had deserved to be recognised for their hard work.

Barry Bull, curator at the Chasewater Railway Museum, said:

> “We are really pleased to see the hard work of our tea room staff recognised in these prestigious awards.

> “They are busy all year round keeping the visitors to our museum and steam railway supplied with a great range of food and drink, as well as those who just come to enjoy the country park.
