A local independent financial adviser and solicitor have joined forces to host a free seminar aimed at helping local businesses update themselves on current and incoming employment legislation.

The Southern Staffordshire Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SSCCI) is sponsoring the event which takes place at its offices in Barton under Needwood on January 26 between 9.15am and 11.30am.

Paul Roberts of Keelys LLP and Kevin Jenkins of 2Plan Wealth Management LTD will be offering an enlightening update which will cover the introduction of National Employer Savings Trust Accounts or N.E.S.T. (which will ultimately require all employers to contribute three per cent of salary into a pension), developments in unfair dismissal and discrimination law and finally the interaction between sick pay and holiday pay.

The event has a limited number of places and is open to members and non-members of the SSCCI. To reserve your place phone the SSCCI on 08450 710 191 or email [members@sscci.co.uk](mailto:members@sscci.co.uk).

The SSCCI’s office is located at Blakenhall Park , Barton under Needwood, Burton on Trent, Staffordshire , DE13 8AJ.
