A kite making workshop is coming to Lichfield during half-term.

Held at Beacon Park, the sessions will give youngsters the chance to decorate their own kite before taking it out for a test run.

The workshops – suitable for children aged five and above – take place at 10am, noon and 1.30pm on February 19 and 20.

Ruth Piddington, community and education officer for Lichfield District Council, said: “Flying a kite is a magical experience, and making your personalised kite makes it even more special.

“We hope lots of children will book in for these fun, crafty sessions.”

Each place costs £3.50 for the 90 minute workshop. To book call 01543 308869.
