PEOPLE can find out more about volunteering opportunities at an event next month.

Support Staffordshire will host a recruitment fair at Lichfield Guildhall from midday to 2pm on 6th August.

There will be more than 25 community organisations and charities in attendance to discuss a range of roles.

A spokesperson said:

> “This is a great opportunity to match individuals’ skills, availability, and interests with community needs.

> “Volunteering is a great way to meet new friends, help improve mental health and improve CV’s for job seekers. In addition it gives something important back to the community we live in.

> “The fair is open to everyone, please come along and find out more.”
