Chasetown FC return to action with a home tie against Burscough.

The Scholars have been without a fixture since their 1-0 win at Frickley Athletic.

A win could catapult the Scholars away from the dangerzone. They currently sit on 26 points in 16th place, six points off the bottom four.

Burscough will be looking to kickstart their own season as they sit rooted to the bottom of the table with just 12 points from their opening 22 games.

Their last league outing saw them beaten 4-2 by Rushall Olympic, while they were also defeated 2-0 by FC United of Manchester in midweek.

Kick-off at the Scholars Ground tomorrow (December 17) is 3pm.
