Chasetown FC manager Craig Harris has collected the manager of the month award for April/May.

He took his side on an incredible run in the second half of last season which saw them climb from the lower reaches to the play-off spots.

And The Scholars went within a whisker of promotion, after [narrowly losing out in the play-off final](//lichfieldlive.co.uk/2013/05/13/chasetown-fc-promotion-hopes-dashed-by-stamford-in-play-off-final/).

He collected his award at the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League presentation evening in Blackpool.

Meanwhile, Chasetown could find themselves in a new league structure if new proposals go-ahead.

The Evo-Stik league is consulting with clubs on plans to ditch the current north/south configuration in favour of an east/west divisional setup.
