# Chasetown FC confirm friendly fixture against an Aston Villa XI

Chasetown FC have confirmed an additional friendly which will see them face an Aston Villa XI.

The Scholars will entertain the Premier League side on July 26, kick-off 7.30pm.

Manager Charlie Blakemore told the club’s website:

> “This is an excellent game for us against Premier League quality – it will be a superb test for our lads.”

The Scholars will be in pre-season action this evening (July 19) too, with the squad split between fixtures at Walsall Wood and AFC Wulfrunians, both games kicking off at 7.45pm.
