# Chasetown FC friendly with Tamworth is cancelled

Chasetown FC’s friendly with Tamworth has been called off.

The game was due to take place tomorrow (July 28), but the Lambs have called off the friendly due to a number of injuries in their squad.

A statement on the Tamworth website said:

> “This will give the players a week’s rest and recuperation before the next scheduled fixture.”

Chasetown are still trying to find a replacement opposition.
