Chasetown FC will embark on another FA Cup encounter when they entertain more than a few old faces in the shape of Rocester.

New Scholars boss Craig Harris will be hoping for a rerun of the club’s historic runs in the competition, but is sure to face a tough test against The Romans.

Rocester manager Dave Langston had a successful spell at the club as a player, while ex-Scholars Criag Holland and Paul McMahon are among the playing staff.

But after recording their [first win of the season against Newcastle Town in midweek](//lichfieldlive.co.uk/2012/08/22/new-chasetown-fc-manager-secures-first-home-win-of-the-season/), Chasetown will be confident they can make progress in the competition once more.

Elsewhere, the Scholars’ second string travel to Stratford Town after securing a 3-1 opening day win at Loughborough Dynamo.
