Chasetown FC will be looking to cement their newly-acquired play-off spot when they take on Mickleover Sports.

They make the journey to Derbyshire tonight (April 23) desperate to consolidate their position.

The Scholars’ 5-1 triumph against Sheffield saw them leapfrog Sutton Coldfield Town after they were beaten by high-flying King’s Lynn Town.

But with only a superior goal difference separating Chasetown from the Royals and Halesowen Town, Craig Harris’ men know any slip-ups are likely to be punished.

Bottom-but-one side Mickleover will have only pride to play for as they look to bounce back from two defeats on the bounce.

However, Chasetown will be favourites to pick up three points from their trip and with mid-table Brigg Town and title hopefuls up next for The Scholars, it is a game they surely have to win.
