# Chasetown FC look for return to winning ways in Bradford Park Avenue trip

Chasetown FC will look to get back to winning ways when they travel to Bradford Park Avenue.

The Scholars make the trip on the back of a disappointing local derby [defeat at Rushall Olympic](//lichfieldlive.co.uk/2011/08/30/match-report-rushall-olympic-1-chasetown-fc-0/) on Bank Holiday Monday.

Charlie Blakemore’s men were unbeaten until their 1-0 loss and will look to rediscover their scoring touch tomorrow (September 3).

Last season saw Chasetown [beaten 2-1 on the opening day](//lichfieldlive.co.uk/2010/08/23/bradford-park-avenue-2-chasetown-fc-1/), before reversing their fortunes at The Scholars Ground with [a 5-0 defeat](//lichfieldlive.co.uk/2010/09/27/chasetown-fc-5-bradford-park-avenue-fc-0/).

Bradford currently find themselves in sixth place in the league, five points ahead of the Scholars, and will also be looking for a return to form after going down 5-2 at FC United of Manchester last time out.

Although Chasetown are away this weekend, the Scholars Ground will still play host to competitive action as Romulus play their FA Cup clash with Norton United there.

The artificial surface at Romulus cannot be used in the FA Cup so the club have agreed to play all of their games in the competition at Chasetown.

And fans who go to the game will be entered into a draw for a chance to win £100\. The lucky ticket holder will take three shots at an open training goal and if they score all three, they scoop the prize.

Romulus boss Richard Evans said:

> “It’s a bit of a thank you to our supporters who get themselves over to Chasetown for the tie and a thank you to anyone else who comes along to support us. We have a good relationship with Chasetown and a good gate will not only be a welcome boost to us, but hopefully to their bar and catering facilities.”
