# Chasetown FC looking to upset the formbook as FC United of Manchester visit

Chasetown FC will need to upset the formbook if they are to get their faltering play-off hopes back on track.

Charlie Blakemore’s men entertain FC United of Manchester who could guarantee themselves a spot in the end-of-season promotion deciders if they return from The Scholars Ground with all three points and other results go their way.

A shock [defeat against Frickley Athletic](//lichfieldlive.co.uk/2011/04/11/frickley-athletic-2-chasetown-fc-1/) and a midweek [point at Northwich Victoria](//lichfieldlive.co.uk/2011/04/13/nortwich-victoria-1-chasetown-fc-1/) has left Chasetown with an uphill task to try and get back into the promotion shake-up.

And with FC United entering the game on a 16-match unbeaten streak, Chasetown know their task will not be an easy one.

However, the Scholars went close in February, eventually[ losing out 4-2 to ten-man United](//lichfieldlive.co.uk/2011/02/17/fc-united-of-manchester-4-chasetown-fc-2/).

The game kicks off at 3pm tomorrow (April 16).
