# Chasetown FC welcome forward as new pre-season fixture is confirmed

New Chasetown FC signing Alex Steadman has been given an official welcome at the Scholars Ground.

The 24-year-old forward was photographed with manager Charlie Blakemore after [his arrival from Mickleover Sports](//lichfieldlive.co.uk/2011/07/01/chasetown-fc-confirm-signing-of-mickleover-sports-forward/).

He will join fellow new arrivals Darren Strike and Jake Sedgemore in pre-season training ahead of their first friendly against Pelsall Villa on July 12.

Meanwhile, Chasetown have also added another fixture to their build-up programme.

AFC Telford will visit the Scholars Ground on August 4 (kick-off 7.45pm).
