A junior football team in Burntwood is on the lookout for new players.

Chasetown Scholars U11

Chasetown Scholars U11 have recently won the Lichfield Lichfield District Recreational League Division Four after a merger between the Chasetown Colts and Chasetown Scholars teams.

A successful first season saw them net 210 goals, including 104 in the league.

And now the coaching staff are looking to strengthn the three sides they have at this age group for next season, while the the Charter Standard Club are also on the lookout for youngsters of all ages to join the wider network of teams.

A spokesperson said: “Players of all abilities are welcome to the club, where the focus is on developing youngsters to achieve their potential in a safe, family friendly environment.”
