CHASETOWN came from a goal down to earn all three points against Clitheroe.

The Scholars fell behind after a quarter of an hour when Jordan Windass found the net.

The hosts tried to hit back with Joey Butlin firing straight at the keeper – before the Chasetown man went one better three minutes before half time when he beat visiting keeper Hakan Burton.

Clitheroe went close to restoring their lead just after the hour mark, but a header was well claimed by Curtis Pond in the home goal.

Just minutes later and The Scholars were in front when a long throw found George Cater who netted at the back post.

Sub Jack Langston went close to adding a third ten minutes from time with a shot just over, before he then hit the upright with a free-kick.
