# Chasetown hit Shifnal Town for four to secure victory on the road

CHASETOWN fired home four goals as they picked up three points on the road at Shifnal Town.

The Scholars took just six minutes to break the deadlock as Kyle Moseley broke through and lashed the ball into the top corner.

A goal-line clearance was needed on the quarter-hour mark as Shifnal pressed for a leveller.

Moseley looked to add his second 10 minutes later but was crowded out as he looked to get his shot off.

Tak Sambizi went close on the half-hour mark as his long-range effort whistled over the crossbar.

Chasetown's second eventually arrived just before the break when a corner saw a scramble in the box as Kevin Monteiro eventually applied the finish.

It was 3-0 three minutes into the second half when a clever move saw Moseley able to complete his brace.

But Shifnal struck back shortly afterwards when Andre Landell netted.

Any nerves were settled on 73 minutes though when Moseley's header found Matt Hearsey, who slotted home to make it 4-1 to Chasetown.

Shifnal's task was made even tougher five minutes from time as Landell received his marching orders after picking up a second yellow card.
