The closure notice being issued

The property on Wood Ridings has been served with the notice after a case was presented to South Staffordshire Magistrates Court by Staffordshire Police and Bromford Housing.

The court granted a three month closure order with immediate effect.

PC Steve Windridge said: “This is a great example of officers working closely in partnership with housing associations to remove those who allow their property to be used in this way.

“Wood Ridings is a close knit cul-de-sac and home to young families with children, and the anti-social behaviour and criminal activity taking place at this address was having a negative impact on the other residents’ quality of life.

“We’d like to thank the local community for their patience and co-operation during this process and offer reassurances that this type of behaviour will not be tolerated.

We will continue to support Bromford Housing in pursuing a permanent repossession of this property.”
