# Comedian Chris Addison reschedules cancelled gig at the Lichfield Garrick

Comedian Chris Addison has rescheduled his appearance in Lichfield.

The funnyman was forced to cancel a gig at the Garrick in July after being stranded in the USA when his flights were delayed.

But the Lichfield Festival have confirmed that he will now appear on September 20.

Tickets for the rescheduled date will go on sale tomorrow (August 30).

Nick Sedgwick, Chairman of the Lichfield Festival, said: “We are delighted that we have managed to rearrange the show so quickly and our thanks go to all at the Lichfield Garrick for accommodating us.

“Chris wanted to put matters right and he has. We have given priority booking to those who held tickets for July.

“Anyone who held tickets and has not re-applied may be disappointed as tickets are going on general sale.

“We contacted all previous bookers by email, telephone or letter to ensure that we were as fair as we could be to his fans.”
