Chase Terrace Methodist Church

Local residents are being invited to a community carol service in Chase Terrace.

The Methodist Church on Princess Street will be offering free refreshments after the service, which takes place at 7pm on Friday (December 9).

Church steward Barbara Bevan said: “We want to share the joy of Christmas with the whole community and so invite all-comers to join us in the singing of those very special hymns we all remember from childhood.

“People don’t often get the chance to come together with friends and neighbours so, at this special time of year we want to fling open our doors and enjoy some quality time together, as well as a mince pie and a cuppa.”

Doors will be open from 6.30 pm.
