Sunday bus services are set to be introduced in Lichfield and Burntwood after funding cuts led to some routes being axed.

National Express West Midlands has confirmed the 10A route linking with Brownhills and Walsall will now operate seven days a week from July 22.

A number of services had been [cut after subsidy changes](//lichfieldlive.co.uk/2018/03/28/more-changes-to-lichfield-and-burntwood-services-after-bus-subsidy-changes/) at Staffordshire County Council earlier this year.

A spokesperson for National Express West Midlands said: “These services will run every 30 minutes Monday to Saturday, and every 60 minutes on Sundays.

“Crucially, this means that a Sunday service is returning to Lichfield, following the complete withdrawal of all buses there in April this year.”

Full details of the changes are [on the National Express West Midlands website](https://nxbus.co.uk/west-midlands/information/service-changes/new-services-to-lichfield-coming-22nd-july?ref=lichfieldlive.co.uk).
