The Sound of Music star Connie Fisher has been forced to cancel her performance in Lichfield, according to a national newspaper report.

The winner of TV show How To Solve A Problem Like Maria? has been forced to cancel her solo tour because she requires surgery to correct a vocal cord condition, [according to The Mirror](http://www.mirror.co.uk/celebs/celebs-front-page/2009/04/18/sound-of-music-star-connie-fisher-cancels-solo-tour-for-surgery-115875-21286342/?ref=lichfieldlive.co.uk).

The 25-year-old was scheduled to play the Lichfield Garrick on May 27, but the concert details have now been removed from the [theatre’s website](https://lichfieldlive.co.uk/content/files/www-lichfieldgarrick-com/index.asp).

The Lichfield concert was part of the cancelled Secret Love tour which was due to take place during May and June to promote her new album.
