Theatre-goers are set to be hit for six when legendary cricket umpire Dickie Bird MBE comes to the crease at the Lichfield Garrick.

He will be sharing tales from the middle about his colourful career as one of the key decision-makers in the international game.

A spokesperson said: “Join Dickie for an evening full of anecdotes about the game he loves so much – and has served so well – with some fascinating behind the scenes glimpses of cricket around the world over the past 40 years.”
