Ian said:

> "It has flown by, it really has. I am very fortunate to enjoy my job and the people around me. Every day is different – you just never know what you may need to make or deliver.
>
> "In a fast-paced environment, having a good team around you is vital and I have the privilege to have worked with great people for four decades.
>
> "That’s because Arthur Price really is a family. It’s a cliché, but it’s true. I’ve seen many changes over my 40 years, but the one thing that is constant is the friendly workplace."

The company's Chairman Simon Price said:

> "Ian is a vital part of our business, liked by colleagues and respected by customers, with vast experience and expertise.
>
> "As times have changed, his skill and knowledge have also developed, which to me shows an amazing aptitude and ability.
>
> "I am privileged to have him as part of my team."

CEO James Price added:

> "Ian joins a very special group of people who have been with us for 40 years, and that says something about our workplace of which I am very proud.
>
> "On a personal note, I have been fortunate to learn from all these people – and I hope that we have many more long-standing colleagues for generations to come."
