THE poetic passions of Erasmus Darwin will be discussed at a Lunar Lecture in Lichfield.

Prof Paul Elliott will be the guest as the series continues on 8th April.

A spokesperson said:

> “This talk takes a close look at some of Darwin’s poems, showing how and why it was venerable oaks he chose to represent his poetical passions inspired by knowledge and experience of regional woodlands.”
