# Dementia-friendly swimming sessions taking place at Lichfield Leisure Centre

NEW dementia-friendly swimming sessions are launching at Lichfield Leisure Centre.

The initiative begins on 7th September and will then take place every Friday between 2.45pm and 3.45pm.

A spokesperson said:

> "These welcoming and supportive sessions are designed for people living with dementia and their carers.

> Enjoy the benefits of gentle exercise, being in the water and a friendly, supportive environment. Everyone is welcome, and carers are encouraged to join in too."
