CHASETOWN’S bid to add to their points tally was dashed by heavy rain.

A downpour shortly before kick-off last night (11th November) saw the playing surface at Runcorn Linnets deemed unplayable.

The Scholars will instead return to action at the weekend with a home clash against Darlaston Town.
