# Driver dies after three vehicle crash near Lichfield

A MAN has died after a crash near Lichfield.

The incident happened on Watling Street in Weeford at around 4.50pm yesterday (19th December).

Police say the crash involved a black Ford Ranger pick-up truck, a blue Valtra tractor and a yellow Volvo lorry.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police added:

> “Sadly, the driver of the Ford, a man in his 60s, died at the scene. His family are being supported by specialist officers.

> “The drivers of the lorry and the tractor were not injured.   
>  
> “We are keen to speak to anyone who was travelling in the area with any information or dashcam footage which could help collision investigators.”
