# England’s strongest men to compete in Lichfield

Lichfield is set to play host to some of the country’s strongest men.

The battle for the title of England’s Strongest Man takes place at Lichfield Rugby Club on Sunday (July 5).

Competitors will be taking part in events including:

- Axel squat
- Farmers walk
- Wooden log lift
- Hand over hand truck pull
- Big van lift
- Stones of strength

Gates open at 11.45am and the competition starts at 1pm. Entry is £2 adults, £1 children and under three free.
