Chris Worsey

“I am working hard for every vote. I love Lichfield and it would be an honour to represent it in Parliament. We’ve got a great team who are ready, willing and able to make a real difference to the residents of Lichfield, Burntwood and the surrounding villages. We have spoken to thousands of residents over the last few months and we would love the opportunity to create positive change locally.

At this election, voters have a choice between a Conservative Government offering a failing economic plan, widening inequality and down-graded public services or a Labour Government with a vision for a kinder, fairer, more entrepreneurial country with world-class public services.

This is a great place to live. However, I know that we can do even better.

If we look at the statistics we can see that certain parts of our area are suffering. The Tories’ policies have meant that 3,300 working families in Lichfield have seen their tax credits cut in real terms; there are 4,123 households in fuel poverty in Lichfield and there are now 5,697 more people on NHS waiting lists in Burton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust compared to May 2010.

If elected, I pledge to work hard to fix these problems and be a fantastic local representative. I’d appreciate your support.”

*The candidates standing in the Lichfield constituency are:*

- *Andy Bennetts – Class War*
- *Michael Fabricant – Conservatives*
- *Robert Pass – Green Party*
- *John Rackham – UKIP*
- *Paul Ray – Lib Dem*
- *Chris Worsey – Labour*
