A FASHION show has helped raise hundreds of pounds for a local group.

The Animal Rescue Volunteers hosted the event in Whittington.

It saw a total of £721 for the group which works with a range of animal welfare organisations.

A spokesperson said:

> “Many thanks to everyone who took part, especially the wonderful models and make up artist who all gave their time for free.

> “A special thanks as well to our lovely volunteer Amanda Sims who organised the whole event.”
