THE Lichfield Festival has confirmed that the Midlands Choir of the Year competition will return in 2026.

The contest is open to amateur singing groups across all styles of music.

The competition will feature as part of the festival next year, with semi-finals taking place before a grand final in Lichfield Cathedral on 12th July 2026.
