# Final call for Burntwood in Bloom entries

Green-fingered Burntwood residents are being reminded that time is running out to enter a gardening competition in the town.

Plenty of great gardens have already been submitted to the Burntwood in Bloom contest, but the Town Council still wants more local people, groups and businesses to enter.

A spokesperson said:

> “We know there are lots of beautiful gardens, hanging baskets and troughs in the town and we really want to encourage people to enter the competition. There are prizes and trophies to be won so why not give it a go?”

The closing date for entries is July 13\. Judging will take place on Tuesday July 19 20, with schools judging on July 18.

Entry forms can be collected from the Town Council’s office (Unit 1 Lambourne House, Bridge Cross Road, Burntwood WS7 2BX) or downloaded from [www.burntwood-tc.gov.uk](http://www.burntwood-tc.gov.uk/?ref=lichfieldlive.co.uk).
