# Finishing touches ahead of opening of new Lichfield Leisure Centre

FINAL preparations are taking place ahead of the official opening of the new Lichfield Leisure Centre.

The facility has been built at Stychbrook Park and will welcome its first members on 2nd January.

The facility will include a new gym, swimming pool and space for classes, as well as an outdoor all-weather sports pitch.

A spokesperson said:

> “This modern, purpose-built facility will offer a fresh, energising space for fitness, wellbeing and family activities.”

The centre will open for a “soft launch” from 2nd January with a full opening on 9th January.
