A FIRE safety event is taking place at a Lichfield care home.

People are invited to visit The Spires to find out more about tips to stay safe, as well as meeting representatives from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service.

A spokesperson for the home said:

> “We’re proud to host Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service and bring this valuable opportunity to our community.

The event takes place at 10.30am on 26th May.
