A NEW McDonald's outlet has welcomed customers for the first time in Lichfield.

The drive-thru opened on Eastern Avenue yesterday (14th October) as part of an investment by local franchisee Mike McCollum.

It is open from 6am to 11pm seven days a week and has created 95 new full and part-time jobs.

>
> "People are at the heart of our business, and we look forward to welcoming new employees with the jobs our restaurant will create.
>
> "We’re committed to investing in opportunities for a mix of all ages, life stages and backgrounds, promoting flexibility and equality."
