Lichfield Fit Club getting ready for their fundraising boot camp

Lichfield Fit Club is hosting its very own Breast Cancer Boot Camp this month in a bid to encourage local people to battle the bulge and raise funds for two needy causes.

The event, on Saturday (October 25) in Beacon Park, is a two-hour session starting at 10am that will see owner of Lichfield Boot Camp Luke Bottomer host this one-off session that will involve a variety of exercises but with a fun element too.

Costing£10, Luke has pledged to donate all proceeds to St Giles Hospice in Whittington and Breast Cancer Care.

Event organiser Jenny Holden said: “Boot camps are a great way to get fit and we thought what better way to encourage all those to do so before the festive period really kicks into action is to host this event and raise funds at the same time – come rain or shine!”

Aaron Coleman from St Giles Hospice, added: “We’re really grateful to Luke and his fellow boot camp team mates to think of us for this event which I’m sure will attract lots of people. Without events like this our charity couldn’t exist so we’re hoping there is a really good turn out.”
