# Folk star Phil Beer set for Lichfield Guildhall show

Lichfield Arts is welcoming one of the country’s most top folk artists to the city for a performance at the Guildhall.

Phil Beer and his electric band will play the city on February 11 and see him bring together a range of top performers, including melodeon player Gareth Turner, double bass player, guitarist and singer Miranda Sykes, drummer Steve Crickett, fiddler Olivia Dunn and bassist and vocalist Nick Quarmby.

Lichfield Arts Director Brian Pretty said:

> “Phil Beer is widely regarded as one of the most versatile and in demand musicians playing on the folk circuit today. This will be one of the highlights of our Spring season, and I strongly recommend buying your tickets soon to avoid disappointment. Lichfield has a healthy folk music audience and tickets will be in demand.”
