# Folk stars set for Lichfield Guildhall performance

Folk stars Dave Swarbrick and Kevin Dempsey are set to showcase their talents at the Lichfield Guildhall.

Having played alongside the top stars from Fairport Convention, fiddle player Dave Swarbrick is rated as one of Britain’s finest alongside guitarist Kevin Dempey who is recognised as a fine original songwriter in his own right.

The two musicians play Lichfield Guildhall on October 11 in a concert organised by Lichfield Arts.

Lichfield Arts Director Brian Pretty said:

> “It is a long time since these two fine musicians played in Lichfield, with their unique vision and verve this will be a excellent concert.”
