Footballers in Lichfield are being urged to burn off their Easter eggs by signing up to play in a small-sided league.

Leisure Leagues competitions take place at King Edward VI Leisure Centre and footballers of all ages are being invited to put a team together and join in the fun.

The company’s executive director Stephanie Bullock said:

> “We know that many younger players who attend colleges and sixth-form centre’s will be left at a loose end over the holiday period, and what better way for them to break the boredom by getting involved in their local league?”
